hi, friend!

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know the name of this book isn’t really an exaggeration. My kitchen is where I start my mornings, where I unwind at night, and where most of my favorite memories happen.

I grew up watching my mom cook for me and my nine siblings, and seeing how one table full of food could bring all of us together is what made me fall in love with cooking. This book is full of the recipes that shaped me: the Palestinian dishes I grew up eating, the comfort food I make on repeat, and a whole lot of my favorite bakes.

Every recipe in here is one I truly love, and I can’t wait for them to become favorites in your kitchen too.

xo, Mariam

Msakhan
