Salted Caramel Stuffed Brownies !!

Fudgy chocolate brownies with a layer of soft salted caramel baked right through the center 🎞️ comment “Salted Caramel” and I’ll DM you the recipe !

Ingredients you’ll need:

Salted caramel
200 grams Granulated sugar
85 grams Salted butter, cubed
120 ml Heavy cream
1/2 tsp Vanilla

Brownies
300 grams Semisweet chocolate chips (or preferred chocolate bar)
170 grams Unsalted butter, chopped
40 grams Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp Espresso Powder
1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon,optional
3 large Eggs
300 grams Granulated sugar
2 tbsp Light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
125 grams All-purpose flour
2 tbsp Powdered milk
1 tsp Fine sea salt
Flaky sea salt, for topping, optional

Banana bread is definitely one of those things I make mainly when I have overripe bananas and don’t know what else to do with them. Which is often. But I’ve been in a waffle phase lately and I started wondering what would happen if I just cooked banana bread batter in a waffle iron instead of a loaf pan. The answer is that it turns out quite incredible 🙂‍↕️

Now, back to the recipe 🙂‍↕️ An olive oil sponge cake with cream cheese mousse and macerated strawberries !!

I have been thinking about strawberry shortcake all spring but I do not actually love the biscuit version. I never find them quite as whimsical and delicious as the photos in cookbooks make them look. So I made an olive oil cake instead. With butter and oil (always, when I make a cake) because I wanted the cake to taste rich and tender. And I baked it in a single 8-inch pan so it comes out nice and tall. I topped it with a cream cheese mousse, with a pile of beautiful macerated strawberries on top as well!
